What is a normal budget for flowers for a wedding?
There is no single normal budget, because the total follows the size of the wedding party, the number of tables, and the flowers you choose. Bridal bouquets start from $150, and a complimentary consultation gives you an honest total for your venue and your guest count before you commit.
Who pays for the flowers at a wedding?
Traditionally, the bride's family covered the ceremony and reception flowers, and the groom's side covered the bride's bouquet, the boutonnieres, and the corsages. Most couples now split the cost in whatever way suits them, and we are happy to work with whoever is paying.
How far in advance should I book wedding flowers?
A small wedding with a few bouquets and boutonnieres can sometimes be accommodated with as little as one day's notice. Larger weddings need at least three weeks, and two months ahead is ideal. A deposit of 50% may be required, depending on the size of the wedding.
Is the wedding consultation free?
Yes. Consultations are complimentary, on Zoom or in person, with our lead wedding florist and the owner. Bring your venue, your colors, and your budget, and we will build the flower plan around them.
Do you set up and break down the flowers at the venue?
Yes, setup and breakdown are available for an additional fee. The service is most commonly used for larger weddings and events, and it is arranged at the consultation.
Can I order only corsages and boutonnieres for a wedding?
Yes, and those orders are pickup only. Corsages, boutonnieres, and floral wraps are particularly delicate, so orders consisting solely of them are not delivered. You can see the styles in our corsage and boutonniere collection.
