Our Eastern Ave shop is Green Valley's florist too. We deliver daily across Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch, Anthem, and Southern Highlands, and we know the guard gates, the HOAs, and the front desks. If you're sending to a home in a gated community, add a gate code or a phone number at checkout and our drivers will handle the rest.

We stand behind our flowers. If an arrangement doesn't meet your expectations for freshness, tell us within 48 hours of receipt and we will replace it. Spring and seasonal flowers with a naturally short vase life are excluded, and we will say so when you order them.
Henderson roots
Henderson began as a wartime company town, built in the early 1940s around Basic Magnesium, the plant that refined magnesium for the war effort. One corner of it is older than the city: Pittman began as the camp for the Three Kids Mine, a manganese mine found in 1917, and took its present name in 1942 for Senator Key Pittman.
In 1943 the company built Carver Park, a 324-home neighborhood designed by celebrated architect Paul Revere Williams for its Black workers — today one of Southern Nevada's first planned African American communities. Henderson nearly vanished when the plant closed after the war; in 1946 the state bought the plant works to keep the town from dissolving.

Where do you park for Water Street events?
Parking is free — use the city's 364-space garage at 235 S. Water St., with entrances on Water Street and Texas Avenue. On event nights it's the reliable pick when the surface lots fill.
What's Henderson's biggest fall festival?
Aki Matsuri, the Japanese fall festival on Water Street Plaza — one Saturday every October, free, with taiko drumming, dancers and festival food. It drew more than 17,000 people in 2025, so go early or late; the sake pavilion is the only paid ticket.
Where can you watch bighorn sheep graze on a lawn?
Hemenway Park, just past Henderson in Boulder City. A desert bighorn herd comes down most warm-season days, mid-morning into the afternoon — locals check Boulder City's free Ram Cam stream before driving over. Dogs aren't allowed, because of the sheep.
What's the one monsoon rule every local learns?
Never drive through a flooded wash or dip — including the Pittman Wash crossings. Six inches of water can stall a car, and your street can flood from a storm miles away. Wait it out; it usually passes fast.

Fresh water every two days, a small trim of the stems when you change it, and keep the arrangement out of direct sun and away from heat vents. Henderson summers are hard on flowers; a cool room does more than anything in a packet.
