Sympathy Flowers for the Home

The arrangements in this collection are sent to the family's home rather than to the service, so they are there when the service is over and the house is quiet again.

Questions about for the home

What is the best flower to give to a grieving person?
A white lily arrangement or a peace lily plant is the choice most often sent to a grieving person's home. Lilies stand for peace and remembrance, and a plant keeps that thought in the home long after cut flowers have faded. Arrangements in this collection, such as Basket of Light, are chosen with a home setting in mind.
Is a plant a better gift than flowers for the home?
A plant is a good choice when you want the gift to last in the home. A peace lily or a dish garden stays green for months with ordinary care, while a vase arrangement brings color for the first days after the service. Some people send an arrangement first and a plant afterward, so something remains once the service flowers are gone.
What colors are best for sympathy flowers sent to the home?
White and soft pastel colors are the most common choice for the home, because they sit quietly in a room and stand for peace and remembrance. Blue is also used for its calm feeling, and a touch of red can express deep affection for someone you were close to. Very bright colors are usually saved for celebrations, so most families choose softer tones for a home arrangement.
How quickly can sympathy flowers be delivered to a home?
Sympathy flowers for the home in the Las Vegas Valley can usually be delivered the same day if you order by noon. Our own drivers deliver between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and we cannot promise an exact time, so it helps to include the recipient's phone number with the order. The delivery fee is $29.95 per order and per address, and you can order by phone at (702) 737-7077.
